My name is Dalia Abbas and I am an university student, a senior, living in Cairo. I was born and raised in various cities in the Bay Area, California. (San Francisco, Sacramento, Santa Clara, Concord, Walnut Creek).

I relocated ( forcefully) to Cairo, Egypt with my family in 2007. I spent my final two years of high school in Egypt and  opted out of going to university in the U.S and instead, chose to study in Cairo. Moving to Cairo after 16 years in the United States changed me in ways that give me a headache when attempting to explain.

I study political science and history at the American University in Cairo, but also am somewhat of a wannabe journalist. These posts are a collection of my opinions on random happenings.
